Hi
everyone!! How are you doing? Your learning and teaching blogger İlayda is here
again. Sadly, I will not be around for 3 or 4 months, because this is the end
of my school year. As you know I created this blog as a task for my Instructional
Technologies And Material Design In Elt class. Today I am going to reflect
on my journey and lessons.
When I first heard about creating a blog, I was too excited. I turned to
my friends and said “OMG!! WE ARE CREATING A BLOG!”. They were as excited as I
was. In my first blog post, I did not even know how to embed links. That was my
first time creating a blog. I am not sure if I did a good job but I tried my
best. I signed up to Blogger and chose the name of my blog. I published an
‘About Me’ post. To be honest, this task was really entertaining to me. It was
different from all the assignments we had done before.
About the lessons I had. They were amazing!! I am very thankful to my
teacher for teaching us how to use technology affectively in our lessons. You
know we are in a technological age, but I did not even know how to create a
blog. My favorite assignment was definitely ‘Digital Story-Telling’. Me and my
friends laughed so much and did not get bored. My least favorite was the last AI task, I guess. I was not satisfied with the AI’s answers to my questions and
I did this assignment in my finals week. Maybe it is the reason why 😊.
In
the end, I loved this class very much and it effected me in a positive way. Now
I know more about technology enhancement in education. Use
of technology is
inevitable in today’s world, and I am grateful that I took this class.
