Hello everybody, your learning and teaching blogger is here again! How are you doing? I hope you are doing fine. In this post I will be reflecting on my experience in Current Issues in ELT course.
First of all, I enjoy having a blog. I like writing here. So, I am happy that we continue using our blogs in this course.
I think the materials we created are really beneficial for our ELT development. We have to be engaged with the current technologies to be current in our lessons. Our students will use those tools in their daily lives and we need to know what they are mostly exposed to, and this course was really affecitve in this manner. Actually, I am planning to use the materials when I become a teacher.
In this course, the assignments were not easy or hard. They were appropriate for our levels. I liked that our teacher gave us feedback for our materials. It helped us to achive our best to create materials. My most favorite task was AR- integrated teaching material task, because me and my friends had good times creating it, and actually we learned about AR tools while searching a tool for our material. My least favorite task was flipped classroom task, because I was not in a good mood in that period and it took us a lot of time ( we created a task, videos, slides, audio recordings, combining them all).
I would recommend the students who will take this course to pay attention to the feedbacks that our teacher gives.
I will not be here for about a month, because our academic term ended and I am in the break now. I will miss you.
